We opened, the Photo Stop in November of 1987 as a locally owned and operated family business. We chose Plaistow because we recognized it is as a growing community and knew we could offer quality photo finishing to our friends and neighbors throughout the area. Since then, we have seen our customers through life's many milestones - be it a baby's birth, a family reunion, high school prom, wedding or graduation. - we have helped them preserve those memories. My interest in photography began in high school, and I developed my skills at the Doscher County School of Photography in South Woodstock, Vermont – a great locale for a ski bum! Upon graduation, I went to work at a large, commercial lab in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Around that time, mini labs were the trend, and I took a risk and opened the Photo Stop. Many of you might remember my first official ‘employee’ and four-legged best friend, Nikon. He was a fixture here at the lab, and loved everyone who came through the door. We don’t know whose picture can be found more in the store, Nikon or my daughter, Kristina. Now you’ll find my new pal roaming around the store – a black and white border collie puppy named Campagnolo (Campy for short). When I’m not at the machines or in the studio, you can find me pursuing one of my favorite activities. An avid cyclist, hiker, windsurfer and skier, I’d love to swap stories with you. Because I always have a camera on me, you can bet I have taken some photos of some pretty awesome places. Check back often to take a look at some of the interesting places I’ve been and cool stuff I’ve done – after all, I get to see all of your vacation shots! Regards,
